What makes you think anime is made on computers? To my knowledge, most are traditionally animated on good old pencil, ink and paper. However, a good animation program that I stand by faithfully is Adobe Flash. It’s certainly not outside any layperson’s capacity to learn, but it’s not the easiest thing in the world.

Most 2d animation shows are made with a set of software called toom boom.
